Dr. Mauro Lastrico – Senior Instructor & President of AIFiMM

Dr. Mauro Lastrico is a physiotherapist and one of the leading experts in the Mézières Method.
He trained directly with Françoise Mézières in Paris from 1988 and has practiced this method exclusively in his clinical work since 1988. With over 40 years of experience as an independent physiotherapist and more than 25 years as an educator, he has played a key role in updating the Mézières Method through a scientific lens.
As the founder and president of AIFiMM since 1996, he has contributed to the method’s evolution by aligning its clinical reasoning with modern biomechanical models and Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM).
Dr. Lastrico is responsible for AIFiMM's continuing education programs and has taught in both public and private institutions, including postgraduate training at the University of Pisa.

Dr. Laura Manni – Senior Instructor

Dr. Laura Manni is a physiotherapist with over 40 years of clinical experience and a key figure in the teaching and advancement of the Mézières Method.
She trained directly with Françoise Mézières in Paris starting in 1988 and has since developed a personalized clinical approach to applying the method in musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Her teaching style is appreciated for its clarity and ability to translate complex biomechanical concepts into practical strategies.
